Tea Creations: Combining Our Gold Tea Oil With Soft Tofu And Toppings

Another simple recipe. Our edible tea oil can be quite tasty, especially when added to tofu and other ingredients. A lot of tea oil is used for the skin, but the Gold Tea Oil can also be used for cooking. Here is a recipe idea for you to try. We topped the tofu with bonito flakes, green onion, grated ginger, and pink Himalayan salt.

If you are vegan, you can skip the dried bonito flakes and add on another topping(s) of your choosing. Tofu itself is fun because it not only is a great sort of protein but also provides an interesting texture to mix with oil products such as our tea oil. Another great combination would be to switch the pink Himalayan salt out for some shōyu, giving it a more classic Japanese feel. For more of a spicy taste, you can add on some red chili flakes. We used a more silken tofu for this recipe but you are welcome to use more firm tofu if you like. Just as a side note, our tea oil is offers different nutritional benefits and tofu has it’s own benefits, namely being a high source of plant-based protein and iron.
